So Tim and I went to a first time homebuyers seminar last night and finally got pre-qualified for a house! While it was exciting to finally be getting our "feet wet" it sucks at the same time. We learned last night that we make too much combined to be qualified for the first time homebuyers grant. That sucks!! I told Tim that maybe I should just quit my job and then he could support me, but he didn't like that idea too much. :)
We're still eligible for first time homebuyer loans and what not, but it's so aggrivating that they have all this money out there and we can't get it. Anyways. At least now we know what we can get approved for and what we can afford. So in the next 3-5 months we will be HOMEOWNERS!! yay!!!
